Crucible® Therapy Training Program
We have been training therapists since 1991.
- The Crucible Therapy Training Program is a renaissance in preparing clinicians to practice, combining the fine art of psychotherapy, with evolving brain science and modern teaching methods.
- Course work and clinical instruction convey the Crucible Approach, fully integrated with interpersonal neurobiology and neuroplastic training.
- Crucible Therapy training puts you "in the therapist‘s seat" because learning Crucible Therapy involves more than learning great ideas.
We‘re back, better than ever
- We started from scratch and designed a new generation of instruction, combining the best methods of clinical training, dydactic education, and personal application. We‘ve harnessed the power of on-line interactive training and eLearning systems to firmly set the material into your awareness. And we'll use our person-to-person training know-how to help you learn how to make the Crucible process come alive. You will learn an updated Crucible Approach, taught in new ways.
- Crucible Therapy training combines the best of face-to-face personal instruction and distance learning.
- We‘ve leveraged cutting-edge Internet-based teaching technology, and state-of-the-art digital media to convey the Crucible Approach simply and effectively.
You learn through webinars, eLearning system-based courses, small group teleconferencing, real-time video classes conducted by experienced teachers
Our combination of on-site meetings and state-of-the-art distance learning makes high quality clinical training practical for therapists starting out, as well as seasoned professionals with busy practices.
Crucible®
Standard of excellence
Over the last two decades, the Crucible Approach has established a reputation for high-quality training of cutting-edge therapy. In 1977, Dr. David Schnarch received the first "Professional Standard of Excellence Award" from the American Association of Sex Educators, Counselors, and Therapists (AASECT). The Crucible Approach continues this distinguished level of clinical work and training in the next iteration of its training program.
Some things won't change: Students say learning Crucible Therapy changes your clinical practice and your life. You see, hear, and do therapy differently. You not only do better therapy; you become a better therapist. It becomes a way of life.
